2024 COROBRIK NATIONAL CERAMICS BIENNALE

Rules and Conditions of Entry

  • 2024 Corobrik Ceramic Exhibition is a juried exhibition, open to all members of Ceramics Southern Africa in good standing.
  • Up to three pieces may be entered, one of which may be a set, group or installation.
  • A non-refundable R200 entry fee is payable.
  • Entries must be the artist’s own work.
  • Work must not have been previously submitted or exhibited at an exhibition.
  • Work must be a minimum of 95% ceramic material.
  • No hanging or wall pieces are permitted.
  • Any display props will be included in selling price.
  • Four images of each piece are required, two of the front view, one of which must have a matchbox placed next to it to indicate the size, two further images should be of different angles.
  • Images must be good quality, taken on a white or pale grey background. Each image must be square and not exceed 2mb, with a minimum 300 pixels.
  • Each work need to have dimensions (W x H x D) and weight (kg)
  • Selling prices must include 40% commission payable to Ceramics Southern Africa. To calculate this correctly you need to multiply the take home price you as artist want with 1.667 to get the selling price.
  • Decorated commercial bisqueware will not be accepted.
  • Selectors reserve the right to remove any work that does not meet standards or conform to regulations, on delivery.
  • No late entries will be accepted.
  • Decision of selectors is final, and no discussions will be entered into.
