Fired up for Support – Nick Bold

Dear Members,

We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt appeal to support our secretary, Jodi Maree, who is facing an incredibly difficult period in her life.

Jodi’s partner of 17 years, Nick Bold, has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour, Glioblastoma.

This devastating news has required them to relocate urgently to the Western Cape in order to be close to where he is receiving specialized treatment.

Although some essential medical care is covered by the state, out-of-hospital treatment, relocation, and daily expenses greatly surpass their income.

Because our community has come to appreciate Jodi’s valuable contributions to Ceramics SA in recent years, we are especially well-placed to provide her with meaningful support.

We invite members to consider donating a piece of their ceramic work, which will be made available for sale through the Ceramics SA online shop platform. All proceeds will go directly towards easing the significant financial burden Jodi and her family are carrying.

Your contribution will help Jodi settle into their new circumstances, support her family during this challenging time, and continue the important work she does for Ceramics SA.
