Flare

Much of my ceramic work is rooted in an exploration of people—what it means to exist in spaces that are both tender and tragic. My ceramics centre on emotional vulnerability, a quiet invitation toward connection, forgiveness, and sentimentality. They are soft in their posture, gentle in their language.

Flare, however, is a reflection on emotional friction and anger. Rather than absorbing and releasing, these works pull back with quiet assertion, allowing it to shape the form as much as the clay itself. The result is a textural piece that is sharp, and guarded.
