This sculpture, composed of two textured orange clay forms set upon a flat orange base, reflects the moment of separation between once-unified elements. Where they were once whole, they now stand apart; each form bearing traces of the other. The textured surfaces evoke tension and memory, capturing a quiet stillness after division. Parting II embodies the process of identity’s fragmentation and renewal, a meditation on the spaces that emerge when something once connected begins to exist independently.
