Garth Meyer Studio

Garth Meyer has been a practising potter for over twenty years.  His work encompasses all the major clay types - terracotta, stoneware, porcelains - and types of firings - raku, oxidation, reduction - and many of the decorative techniques available to potters.  He has focused on the potter's wheel, and produces mainly functional work with strong decorative elements.  He also produces large sculptural thrown decorative work for indoor and outdoor display. His work is featured in many private collections, galleries, and the South African Museum of Art.  He currently works from his studio in the Riebeek Vallley town of Riebeek Kasteel.  Studio visitors are welcome.
